Accidental Damage

The moment you accidentally snap your glasses, sit on them, or damage a lens is not the time to discover your spectacles aren’t covered by your home and contents insurance policy, or that a claim may damage your no-claims bonus. This is why Spex4less offers a protection plan for just these instances. Our Accidental Damage Protection Plan covers unintentional damage to a pair of glasses for up to 12 months and accidental damage to the lenses only when ordered with a reglaze of your own frame.
What's Covered?
  • Accidental/unintentional damage to either frame or lens, when the frame is purchased from Spex4less.
  • Accidental/unintentional damage to lenses when ordered with a reglaze of your own frame.
  • Only covers the most expensive pair.
  • Repairs or replacements, including parts and labour.
  • Return shipping costs (Spex4Less to you).
  • Covers a one-time repair or replacement of your spectacles.
  • New lenses identical to those originally supplied.
  • 30-day cooling-off period.
What's Not Covered?
  • Theft and Loss.
  • Minor cosmetic damage.
  • Damage by misuse.
  • Failing to follow manufacturers instructions.
  • Reglaze with a different lens or prescription.
  • Return shipping costs (You to Spex4Less).
  • Cannot be altered, customized or damaged (including attempts at self-repair).
  • Replacement frames when ordered with a reglaze of your own frame.
