Ladies in my life picked these glasses by style , I find them comfortable , It would have better if they had sprung sides , I find the case much to bulky , but liked by the ladies
The frames are better than ones I have purchased at similar prices. They do not have sprung hinges. The thinned lenses seem fine.
Brilliant ,great service and fantastic quality
Glasses looked good but had the wrong prescription no good as thay are but spex4less are sorting it out on the plus side good service .
I have a spare pair of glasses that could be described as 'in your face'. I wore them one day and someone said to me, 'you're wearing glasses', to which I reminded him that I've been wearing glasses for longer than I've known him. The point is that I tend to wear glasses that don't shout 'I wear glasses'. The only problem I've found with minimalist glasses is that they are often quite fragile, especially around the hinges. So when I found that Barbour were making frames, and frames with a 'low profile' lens frame, I tied in Barbour's outdoor, good quality image with the strength sometimes lacking in spectacle frames. When they arrived they come across as perfect fo my needs. The frame/arm hinges seem very substantial and well made, without being bulky or obstructive, and even better, they look good. I have the gunmetal colour which I prefer, and unlike most metal framed glasses I've had, these have fairly substantial plastic arms rather than the thin metal you normally find with such frames and which causes a problem when the kids sit on them. As with most 'designer' frames the 'Barbour' name is on the side of the arms at the hinge. Finally despite their substantial 'feel', in my opinion they look really good.
