With our glasses re-glaze service, we can supply lenses made to your new prescription or we can read the prescription details from your existing lenses to produce a replacement pair. This is extremely useful if, for example, you have damaged your existing lenses and would like replacements to be made.
Using the re-glaze option is also an economic way of turning your spare pair of glasses into Prescription Sunglasses - just add a tint colour of your choice!
You may wish to use our re-glaze service if:
- your prescription changes and you wish to keep your current frame
- you damage your current lenses and wish to replace them
- you wish to replace your current lenses with a different lens type
- you purchase a new frame elsewhere and would like us to fit your lenses

Single Vision Re-Glazing
Standard single vision lenses for distance or reading can be fitted to either full rimed, plastic or semi rimless glasses with a range of thicknesses, coatings and tints to choose from. Please note: We cannot reglaze semi rimless glasses if the existing lenses or dummy lenses are not present.

Please take care when sending your glasses to us. We recommend you using an insured postal service such as recorded delivery, as it is your responsibility to ensure that your glasses reach us safely.
We operate the same policy as high street opticians in that glasses are re-glazed at your own risk. Our technicians take the utmost care in reglazing your glasses - but sometimes faults are inherent in the frame that may result in some damage or the frame breaking. We also reserve the right to return your frames to you along with any monies paid to us (on receipt of your frames) if we feel that they are unsuitable for re-glazing. We do not refund the shipping costs associated with your order.
